NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Seven members of the Vanderbilt track and field team will look to punch their tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with qualifying performances at the NCAA East First Round at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, Thursday and Saturday.
Devyn Parham and Falon and Santana Spearman made the regionals cut in the 100-meter hurdles. Allyria McBride, Joy Moorer, F. Spearman and Madyson Wilson advanced in the 400-meter hurdles. Julia Rosenberg was a qualifier in the 1,500 meters.

· F. Spearman, a regional qualifier in 2024, is the Commodores’ top-ranked short hurdler with a time of 13.16 seconds set at Florida Relays
· The mark matches Spearman’s PR and Vanderbilt’s program record
· F. Spearman ran a personal-best time of 57.31 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles to advance to the event final at Texas Relays
· Parham punched her ticket to Jacksonville after turning in a time of 13.26 seconds in the heptathlon 100-meter hurdles at the SEC Outdoor Championships, jumping from sixth to second on the school’s all-time top 10 list
· S. Spearman made her second NCAA postseason appearance with a personal-best mark of 13.29 seconds, ranked third in school history
· McBride, currently ranked eighth in the region, 14th in the NCAA, with a season best 56.17-second mark, will be making her third NCAA postseason berth
· This will be Wilson’s first time competing at the regional meet; she owns a personal best of 58.80 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles
· Moorer, who advanced to the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships as a member of Colorado’s 4×400-meter relay, PRed in the 400 hurdles at the SEC Championships with a time of 58.34 seconds
· As a freshman, McBride was a second-team All-America selection in the event
· Rosenberg, also a regional qualifier in 2024, recorded a season best time of 4:16.98 to win the event at the Music City Challenge
· Rosenberg’s personal-best mark in the 1,500 meters is 4:15.60
